Well that took for-bloody-ever..! I've been pacing around the house like a cat on a hot tin roof with ants in my pants (mixing metaphors) waiting for word that the site is live. But good things take time and finally we are good to go.
Please come join the community at Living Sober. Come one, come all. Everyone is welcome. Whether you're just beginning to think about the role booze plays in your life, actively trying to get sober or have been happily in recovery for a while - please join in. The site needs people at all stages of recovery. Because we can all help each other.
Even you lovely lurkers.. come on over and lurk away!
Big thanks to the amazing people at Curative (I'm looking at you Eddy!), the clever folks at 96Black, and the wise, wonderful support partners at the NZ Drug Foundation, Health Promotion Agency and Matua Raki.
Now what are you waiting for….. get over there….Living Sober is the place to be...
Love, Mrs D xxx

ReplyDeleteSorry to be a pain but I'm confused about using the new website.I have posted a comment and have had a comment and/or question back , which is on email. But if I reply using the mail it doesnt go. So if I want to reply do I press on my logo(for want of a better word) or the logo of the person who asked me the question? Is this clear as mud?

ReplyDeleteSplendid! That is just what you need. I'm glad that you've formalized that very great help for those who have sworn off alcohol and other abuse substances. That should instill their actions as a lifelong program from now on. Thanks for sharing! All the best to you!

after 4 years sober I am back on the roundabout! Of course I was told that when you start drinking again it takes no time to be back to where you left off. Well not for me i said as I started taking sips of champagne. Let me tell you its taken 3 short weeks to be back to lies, sneeking a drink, finding an excuse for takeaways so I can have a glass of wine while I'm waiting. I simply am shocked and very scared.
ReplyDeleteThis is very amazing web site and this post is very nice and you can write very handy content on sober living life. so thanks for sharing this article.
